Poodles truly are a dog for anyone! This is not to say they identify with being a dog, they might take that as an insult, they truly feel like a member of the family and family members they certainly are! They will love their family unconditionally. They are great with children of all ages as well as with other furry friends.

Poodle Health
Poodles are generally a healthy breed. A good diet and exercise are key elements to keeping them that way. The average life span of a poodle is 12 - 15 years. Problems to look out for include Von Willebrand's Disease, Sebaceous Adenitis (SA), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), as well as Gastric Dilation-volvulus (bloat). Through health screening by your breeder and responsible owner care, your poodle can be a treasured and long-lived, healthy member of your heart and home.
Different Sizes, Different Colors, but Always Hypoallergenic!
Poodles come in three different sizes, toy, miniature, nd standard with a fourth, moyen, in between miniature and standard. Toys stand at about 10’’ and weigh approx. 6lb which then goes all the way up to the standard poodle starting at 17’’ and up, weighing in at 45-70lbs.
Colors range from black, white, apricot, red, brown, cafe-au-lait, silver, and even blue and parti. One great thing they all share in common regardless of size or color is that they are all hypoallergenic and do not shed. A note to consider, however, is that poodles will require regular grooming.
